Yes, Dave is a solid hs coach. But, his success comes from the racquet club players attending WC. Coaches like Dave, Kaupan's, and Carroll's have it made in the shade as they just get great players handed to them. Don't your remember Chris Harper who appeared to have been recruited FROM Collegiate? Not all, but most of the athletes at Collegiate have gone there since they were too young to even know if they were going to be worth recruiting (Schooler (current player), Fiegel (state champion basketball team player), Beehler (state tennis champ), etc.). Some do come to Collegiate for the programs. Who wouldn't want to be coached by Dave Hawley? They still have to shell out heafty tuition. You’ve got to be kidding?
