I need to get up to speed on this sport, so help me out.
I was surprised to see Atticus Disney now out of the area. Too bad, not only was he an excellent wrestler, he had a great name.
Speaking wrestlers, did I see Jaydan Bird transferred to Conway Springs? Is he done wrestling now and only focusing on football?
No surprise, Carroll keeps rolling. The Eagles have won all their tournaments and have won 95 straight duals. And counting… Can anyone get sick of hearing about how good this program is? Not me. I’ve always loved the Carroll coaching staffs, too. Carroll’s also beaten Goddard twice this season in tournaments. Is Carroll going to get that 5A title that escaped them last year?
Then there’s Goddard. Once again, a strong team. I’m quite certain — I don’t even have to ask — that this program is dead set on winning the 6A title. Should have had it last year.
So come on wrestling fans, let’s hear from you.

Bishop Carroll squeaked past Goddard by 8.5 points at the Chanute Tournament.
The match of the tournament was Carroll’s Mitch Arnold vs Goddard’s Tyler Caldwell. Caldwell won 5-4. Carroll is a lock on winning the 5A title.
Goddard is at full strength now with Bonewell, Beard and Irion back from injuries. Look for them to dominate the 6A State Tourney.

Wow. Lots of blogs. That should get this web site going again. I noticed all were written during the bewitching hours. Baby must be keeping you up, JoAnna. I assume it was JoAnna. Here’s my beef. I don’t know when JoAnna is writing a blog or Jeff is writing it. You need to put a sig at the bottom of each blog.

Thanks for throwing us a bone or at least a doggy treat. Keep the stories coming and it would be nice to be able to go to a link or something showing city league and area teams Tourney results and the duel results. It’s a start keep em’ coming.

wow mitch should have won that match. i wonder how much goddard paid that ref… i dont know how its possible to win a match without wrestling, but caldwell sure pulled it off!
