Mythical championship finals

They’re finally here. Decide who would have won our mythical basketball tournament between Andover and Wichita Southeast. Andover and Wichita Trinity had a tight semifinal — wow, you all love your teams! There were around 300 of you voting. — but now Andover must face the formidable Southeast.
I’ve picked these games all along as I believe they would play out on the court. I don’t think this would be a close game, probably along the lines of what Southeast did to Lawrence in the 6A finals. I just think Southeast is way too quick across the board and would push, push, push the ball.
But now I’m going to say who I think will win here, where the only thing that matters is the votes — Andover will win. No doubt in my mind. Andover’s fans are fiercely loyal and they’ve been coming out in droves to vote. Not so on the Southeast side. We’ll let this run into next week to give everyone a chance to vote, but go to the home page of the blog and vote for who wins.
P.S. I finally made it home from the K.T. Woodman track classic after 9 p.m. last night. Ugh. It was so chilly by then. I felt especially sorry for all the workers who had been there since 8 a.m., even worse for the kids from Pleasanton who I overheard talking that they had left at 4 a.m. I also felt bad for the Andale 1600 meter relay team that waited all day to run in the cold, windy night only to have their first leg pull up lame right out of the starting blocks. That stinks.
