Check this out. I just saw this on the wire and couldn’t believe it.

Denver — The odds against hitting for the cycle or tossing a perfect game are considerable.
So what are the chances of one player doing both in one game?
But that’s which Jobi Wall of Denver’s Faith Christian High School did Saturday during Class 3A district play.
“It was pretty crazy,” Wall said.
A senior right-hander, Wall struck out six batters and retired 15 in a row in a five-inning 18-0 victory over Coal Ridge. At the plate, the left-handed hitter tripled, singled, doubled, then homered in only four innings.
“I was kind of aware of it, then it happened,” said Wall, who is 6-foot-6, 205 pounds and plays shortstop when not pitching. “My teammates were very supportive. Everything went right and I got a lot of lucky bounces.”
School and Colorado officials say they never have heard of such a thing and are toying with submitting his story to Sports Illustrated and the National Federation.
In Major League Baseball history there have been only 17 perfect games and 274 occurrences of batters hitting for the cycle — none together.
“I don’t even know how it happened,” Wall said.
So what’s the most impressive feat you’ve ever seen? Or accomplished?

Nobody has posted on this!? This is a great feat but you’d think with the thousands and thousands of ball games played everyyear thru high school and pro, someone would have done it already. My greatest accomplishment in sports is when I was about 10 years old I was playing basketball I was dribbling down the court when I realized I was running out of room, the court was coming to an end, so instead of passing the ball or just stopping I ran full speed out of bounds with the ball threw up a “Larry Bird-ish” over the backboard fade away and made it. I thought I was a really good player there for awhile then I learned that everyone gets lucky sometimes

That is very impressive Austin. It’s too bad that the basket shouldn’t have counted. The rules say the ball can’t go over the backboard in any way.
