Very intense, physical, defensive battle that went all the way to a shootout. Washburn Rural gave Maize all they could handle but Maize found a way to win. A potential Maize/Goddard match-up for the 6A State title would elevate the rivalry to new heights! That would be something a lot of people would want to see. In 5-1a, I think the Aquinas/Kapaun game has the potential of being one of the best games of the year. Andover vs St. James Academy- Don't know much about St. James but I do know that the Clifton Sisters from Andover are insanely talented!
