Whitney Berry honored
June 2, 2008 @ 3:05 p.m. by Joanna by joanna
Goddard’s Whitney Berry was named to the 2008 all-region soccer team and was also a NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) All-American.
No doubt, she’s a stud. And she’s from Goddard, which should please half the posters on this blog. Which brings me to — I can’t believe one of you Goddard faithful failed to pass this on? You’re slacking! (do I need to put ‘joke’ mode here to make sure no one starts yelling at me?)

I’m tired of Goddard and Maize updates on these blogs, why don’t we hear about any of the other schools

AndyJ — So, you have updates from other schools? Got anyone who made All-American? Like it or not, Berry’s honor is impressive, whatever school she goes to.
But if you have other schools that have interesting factoids or honors, pass them on, whether on the blog or to me at joanna@varsitykansas.com. I’d love to hear them.

Whitney Berry: 1st Team All-League, 1st Team All-Metro, 1st Team All-Region, 1st Team All-America. You are right AndyJ, we should ignore this news.

Congrats to Whitney. I’m sure she worked hard and deserves the honor. Although I am not affiliated with the Goddard School System, you have to give credit where credit is due.
