4A Football

That’s what I’ve heard. I have talked to Andale coach Gary O’Hair and that success has paid off as he’s got a lot of talent to choose from this season. Approximately 100 kids came out for team camp and a couple of them could turn some heads on the field this season.
Andale made the road to its second straight Class 4A championship look easy winning every playoff game by double digits except for it’s quarterfinal game against Topeka-Hayden winning that 29-28.
So now educate me. Who will be the must see players and teams in 4A? What will be the best 4A games of the season?

the best game will be andover central vs andale.ac has many exp. seniors who are hungry for a state title. linebacker,tightend jeff page is a tackling machine and will catch every ball thrown to him.center ben fulghum and tackle michael starnes are good exp. linemen who will need to play more consistent.running back keaton lablanca will have it all to himself this year with the departure of bird.

Um they would have to meet up in the Semi-Finals, they dont play each other in the reg season.

Andover Central vs. Andale…. Andale has been great the last two years but not for some stupid special teams play last year, AC would have won and probably won big. Last year, Andale deserved the state, but just don’t believe that there can be three peat for this year. Andale will fall back to the pack. AC is full of experience players with tons of talent. Coach Audley has the horses up front. We will see if the QB is ready to take the reins. LaBlanca is a solid back and Page will be better. Starnes will have a full summer of lifting and Fulghum has improved. Should be the year of the Jags!
