Hey VYPE. Nice lack of journalistic integrity by saying "we" while describing your daughter's summer team. Sign in under your own name if you are going to use "we", otherwise it hurts your credibility as a publisher/journalist. I am sure they are a good team (don't follow girls basketball) and your daughter is a good player, no need to continuously and shamelessly go out of your way to get her name in print. Be impartial while signing in under VYPE: if you sign in under VYPE, you are supposed to be a professional.....act like it.

Also, let someone else pat you on the back for your children's achievements before you dislocate your shoulder doing it to yourself.

I went to watch about 9 different tournament this summer and I thought the the the Wichita Besrcats was the best time That I saw from Wichita. I am a former player from wichita and now a college coach and I was very proud of the way the Bearcats represented wichita in my eyes the Bearcats and Wichita Heights girls team have really put wichita on the National scene.

I am amazed at all the division 1 girls basketball players we have without these girls being involved with potential players.

Nice, VYPE, you do a great job with giving us info on the team and then get a plug for the mag. Impressive. I need to do that -- figure out ways to pimp this blog. Got some ideas for me?

I am a parent of one of the Wichita Lady Blazers and I AM NOT "stephd1972". I can give you more info on the Lady Blazers older team if you want it. The team has 11 players from across Wichita and surrounding areas like Rose Hill, Andover, and Maize.
We have played in KC, OKC, DAL, NE so far this summer and will be leaving for Memphis, TN this weekend. We finished in 4th in the Battle of the Border in KC, we went to Championship in Kearney NE finishing 2nd, we finished 2nd in DAL at the Texas Shoot Out. Ashia Woods was named an all american at Kearney NE, so far this summer this we have an overall record of about 23-7. Again, I am NOT "stephd1972" or "cmscott" I don't have any issues with the reporting because I know Joanna and don't think she is prejudice. I also know how the media works having played before as well also these girls were only in 9th and 10th grade. Their time will come.

stephd1972 -- this wasn't a "only two teams are worth a mention." Rather it was a title to hopefully draw people in. If you know something about the Blazers or would like to post it here, feel free. There's readers that want to know.
As for Chris Lane knowing anything about the Blazers, I have no idea.
