Yep, I’m giving you a job today. Your job is to rank each class for the upcoming season.
It doesn’t matter if you name only the No. 1 team, that’s fine. If you want to go top five, top 10, great.
I’ll get you started — Hutchinson is No. 1 in Class 5A. Whew. That’s going out on a limb and it’s all I can do today. Too much thinking, too much setting myself up for ridicule.
So it’s up to you.

What makes everyone think Olathe East is #1 in 6A? Do they have the numbers returning from last season?

Not sure how many starters are returning either, Olathe East was 9-1 last season according to KSHSAA lost a close one to Olathe South. 21-17

kind of off topic but when does the High school football preview come out in the eagle?

Normally it is published about 1 week before the first game of the season. The Eagle does all the Kansas Colleges previews first and then H.S. the following week

Hutch has everywhere locked, 6A Can Finally Breathe now That the Hawks moved to beat up on Smaller schools, who cares about East or south or the North (Olathe). Hutch High Torched them all.
