RIVALS vs. ESPNU

Heres a chart that compares the Top 15 Prospect ratings from Rivals and ESPNU.
There are several kids listed on both, but I thought it was interesting that Aaron Murray from Tampa was third on ESPNU’s list and was No. 50 on Rivals list.
So who you riding with? Who’s list is more accurate in your mind?

J Long not trying to dog your post but do you really think most of the “bloggers” really have a clue who most of these cats are let alone how talented they are ?

Rivals has them listed so differently because they do not give kids that could end up being qualifying issues a fair rating. They have admitted as much time and time again. Why that matters, I have no idea, but that’s the difference.

J Long there is so much difference between all the recruit groups Rivals , Scout ,ESPN
BUT it is a age old argument that you can’t measure kids playing here against kids playing there
and a kid that looks good at one of these combines isn’t always the guy you want on your team
Saturday afternoon in college.I have been to several camps / combines latley and see kids not ranked
come to some of these and look better then higher ranked kids.
Bottom line is everyone has a idea of what they want in the best player at different postions.
I ‘m sure everyone here in Kansas would agree that Bryce is #1 RB in the State, BUT who is #2?
I would imagine there is 5 different highly knowledgable people out there that would pick different
Players, thats human nature. It would be so boring if everyone had same options.Trust me
some kid who isn’t ranked and has no stars will be getting drafted to the Pro’s in 5 years it happens every year.

J Long I wrote a long answer last night , but mine and 2 others got blown off here somehow,so I will make it short and sweet .Every group and person have differnt ideas on whose best .We all agree Bryce is #1 in Kansas BUT who is #2.I bet you could get 5 knowledgable guys on here and each pick a differnt guy.D-Mac, Randle,Dinwitte or someone from K.C area. Also would one of these guys be better on another team with better line? It’s a good thing people have different ideas, wouldn’t it be boring to all think alike?
