How much time do you spend on the Internet?

I know I’ve been asking a lot of questions lately, but I’m trying to get through all the football preview stuff, and I just don’t have the time to do all the interviews I did earlier in the summer.

Nor do I have the time to surf the Internet. Which brings me to my question _ how much time do you spend on the Internet? I guess this is primarily a sports-related question. If you tell us that you play four hours of poker every night, yeah, I’d be interested.

But what I really want to know is how much sports stuff are you looking for?

Do you go to specific sites every day? Do you check out the rankings on a site once a month? I get pretty frustrated looking for information sometimes. Like yesterday, I was trying to google Derby kicker Evan Engwall’s ranking nationally. Hello, frustrating! I went to so many sites and it takes so long to load up those sites with the video.

For me, I check out the Cap Journal every so often, I’ll look at Rivals and Scout.com. For my own personal enjoyment, I go to poynter.org, which is a media site, and espn.com. (I’m not talking about the time I spend on babycenter.com. I doubt there’s many women on here, so why embarrass myself!)

So fill me in on what you do.

Depending on the season I go to Rivals everyday atleast twice a day. I go to ESPN everyday 3-4 times on a regular bases but when fantasy football starts I visit more than 5 times a day. I go to the Major League Soccer site about once a week. I also visit the Atlanta Falcons site about once a week cause thats my team! I also play many sports related games on the internet. I visit realtree every couple weeks. Wow I think i just realized I need to get out more!

Oh….yea one other thing Joanna, one of Evan’s Buddies told me just a couple of days ago that he saw him kick a wet ball 55 yards through the uprights on the practice field.

55 yards with a wet ball? I once saw Bill Brasky kick a ball in the snow 65 yards through the uprights with the temperature only 10 degrees, and then he sold the holder and long snapper a dozen sets of steak knifes…that was just Brasky for ya’.

I work in broadcasting and have a constant Net connection
at work, and I go back and forth among ESPN, Sportsline,
Fox Sports and newspapers (mainly the Topeka, KC and
Wichita papers). During baseball I’ve been following
fantasy on our league site daily and will do the same for
football. A favorite thing is to read ESPN Insider baseball
blogs, especially from Buster Olney, Rob Neyer and Jayson
Stark. I’m not so much into the recruiting sites, though I
    know they are big.

That kid from the Derby is the real deal TFL. I cant confirm the “55″ but he can flat out kick and Panther Football is going to make some noise. Im not sure if people realize that going 80 yards to score is not easy and im telling this kid will kick it deep.

I always make my rounds at least once a day during track season to my favorite sports sites: dyestat.com, hurdlesfirst.com, watch a couple hurdle videos on youtube.com, milesplit network, varsitykansas.com (track result central is GREAT), etc.
