Kapaun has a sweetheart of a deal going, folks. The Crusaders will be on the radio, KWLS, 107.9-FM, for eight of their regular season games. The only game they won’t be on KWLS (based out of Winfield) is when they play Oct. 2, a Thursday night. KGSO does all Thursday night CIty League games.

Kapaun will also be streaming the broadcast at www.kapaun.org.

All Friday basketball games will be on KWLS, too — boys and girls — and streamed on kapaun.org.

Why don’t they do the Winfield games? Those people will run them out of town.

KWLS is not a “Winfield” station anymore than KWCH is a Huthinson Station. Their antenna is in Cowley County but their offices are in the Metro. The Same as other stations have offices and studios in the metro but their antennas in Harvey or Butler Counties….. Go Crusaders. Go KWLS

We have a radio station here in Rose Hill but all they do for Rose Hill is take up parking spaces at Subway where their employees park.
