Nice job with the video. Your marriage with Channel 3 has enhanced this web site, considerably. I find this web site to be more organized and more informative than other high school web sites in the area. The message board needs some work, though.

How about Garden Plain outscoring their opponents by over 240 points on the season????? Unbelievable!!!!
And you know I hear people say Garden Plain plays politics, All I can say is if PUETZ is that good a Politics , I pray he runs for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES SOON!!!!

You know one thing I have been concerned about in Kansas for a few years now is Classifications.
When I look at the enrollment for 4A , It goes from 204-556.
TWENTY ONE of the 64 teams have under 256 kids in their 3 grade enrollment. This is crazy!! Am I the only one who see this as a problem for these 21 schools in Football? ( This also pertains to 5A-6A but I wanted to take this one at a time)
The reason I make this point is those 21 schools would be 1A in Louisiana. Thats three classifications difference competing for ONE State Title.
Joanna, I know this isn’t part of the blog Title but maybe we need one to discuss the opinions on this subject

Bucocatfan, the message board is a bit slow for my taste. I like the give-and-take of message board posting something you don’t always get over here with this blog, although it’s picking up. I just know how it is on the Topeka Capital website. I bet they have about 10 times the number of posters. I’d like to see that down here at the Wichita Eagle site. After all, this is south-central Kansas not northeast Kansas.

Cueball, If you take into account this message board is only high school sports and the TCJ is all sports, even if they pretend not to be. Plus, this board underwent a major revamp which almost killed it and it still needs to be retooled to one screen. While I enjoy reading Joanna’s blog, I really don’t see the attraction when compared to message boards. You never know if someone has posted a reply unless you keep checking back etc..
