Pro style type offense converted to the single & double wing did not work out that well. It is good to see they are having some success again but it has been awhile. Last week's comeback win was impressive. I am not sure what enabled the comeback because it sounds like a complete collapse by Salina South. It does take a good team to come back and keep fighting so I will give you that. Take it easy on the declarations... Derby is ONE of the hottest teams in the state. Heights has proven to be a competitive team that could go far this season. However, Derby has gone against tough teams and through the low expectations and doubters went home with the W's. What ever adjustments he made at 1/2 time were just what his team needed. I have to say, regardless of the cockiness of the derby posters, coach clark can take them a long way and you have like the way they compete. Big props to Derby tonight. Just a couple years ago you guys lost to wichita SOUTH. Clark is doing a great job but you derby posters make it tough to root you.
