Bryce is probably the most calm and composed person here at the Kansas Hall of Fame. He’s still not saying where it will be. *NON Bryce news, Blake Bell is here and he’s wearing a Texas A&M t-shirt.

    Hovpen does that mean in two years he will leave them with a 5-6 overall record and a 2-6 conference record dead last in the Big XII North? Okay, that will probably be closer than the magical 1998 season.

    Did you expect anything less Derby Shawker Fan? I wish the kid luck but the whole thing has been classless and self-promoting. I hope he is ready for those SEC defenses, I have a feeling the first time he gets tackled hard the announcers will say “Well he isn’t in Kansas anymore.”

    Thou did stop promoting Duranleau in thy posts on yea this very blog Hovpen. Duranleau was one of the top 15 recruits in the state yet when he fell from the grace of thy false messiah he seemed to lose all interest from D1 schools and the Wichita Eagle for that matter. I shall bring a plague upon thy house for the mortal sins of greed, pride, wrath, and gluttony!

    Actually, I believe he fell from grace from a lot of coaches at the next level when the GWAL coaches decided he wasn’t first team all conference. Odd though, I seem to remember him as being selected to the Hovpen first team offensive unit even without that status from the coaches. Also, Hovpen doesn’t list a top 15. We list a top 10.

    Now Rivals.com listed him as 13th on their post seaosn listings. So tell me again how he fell from grace with me. You must realize that the main office also didn’t notice Brett Soft or Forrest Stucky as being in the top 10 players in Kansas. I had them at No. 2 and 3. I still have them at No. 2 and 3. Would you like to argue their status also? I don’t think I’d have to defend those selections around this part of the state at all.

    Pardon if I fail to see where he fell from Grace with our web site, especially since he was selected to our all-State team and we posted his season ending video long after he quit working out with PP. We also think he has a good shot at moving on after JUCO.

    BTW, I”ve never promoted anyone on this blog. That would be advertising and your boss would get on me for that. Boy are you a piece of work. If I didn’t know better, I’d say ole pete was changing his name and posting as two people.

    I did think the Miami hat thing was needless.

    Tennessee is a good choiced based on the reasons Bryce listed.

    But using that same reasoning, how would K-State be the second choice?

    And, for the guy who asked, Snodgrass signed with McPherson College.

    Not a chance old man. If I want to say something to you I will use my “real” name. I don’t know who Duranlulu or whoever he is nor do I care. I just find it funny in all of your wisdom you predicted K-State to be as bad as they were this past year. Bill Snyder did not leave that program in good shape, go back and look it up. Memory loss might be catching up with you Hovpen.

    RikRok, do you really think K-State was #2 or did he say that to appease the home crowd. That was the sense I got. I will give him and his advisor credit, they got better at the whole public relations thing in such a short time.

    I don’t think KSU was number two, that’s why I think he should not have said anything about them all.

    When you looked at his final schools, one of them stood out like that part of Sesame Street where they sing “one of these things doesn’t belong here, one of these things doesn’t belong.”

    I just know it’s warm outside and spring football is coming.

    I don’t think KSU was #2 either and really does it matter who was two. They (Butler, Brown, etc.) have made a mockery out of the whole recruiting process which is saying something really because college recruiting is over the top in many ways already. The best thing this kid can do is go to Knoxville shut his mouth and let his play do his talking for him. Let his obnoxious head coach run his mouth for him, which Bryce is used to considering he has had Butler as his mouthpiece.

    I concur spring football is here, good golf weather, and soon I can spend my evenings at the ballpark.

    Bryce Brown is an idiot, plain and simple. Those SEC defenses are gonna rip his head off when he finally plays a game at Tennessee. Him and Butler are an absolute joke, and he has made a mockery of high school football here in Wichita. I hope he turns out to be an sbsolute bust in college. And the whole thing with the hat, I didn’t see it but I did hear about it. Miami lucked out in not getting this clown. Of course he fits right in at Tennessee. Lane Kiffin is an idiot, and so is Bryce Brown. They fit well together, it’s a perfect marriage.

    our defense should be lights out next year.

    but yea the team is looking pretty good.
    not great. but good enough to possibly be a playoff team. keyword…POSSIBLY.
    if the stars are all lined up right and all lol.
    however saying that i do think that our division will be having a down year with the exception of hutch.
    and our district is very winnable. with brown gone,and heights losing several good players. but the SE game will be an extremely tough one.
    hopefully joseph doesn’t have a great game or we could be in a world of hurt haha
    but overall i think we are very capable of being a 6-7 win team.
    we have a lot of talent coming back on the defensive side. we just need to find some offense to equal it out ha
