Lawrence defeated Goddard 4-1. SM West beating Maize 9-1 in the other semifinal.
Class 4A
It’s over! Kansas City Ward’s six-year run as champion ends today as Topeka Hayden defeated the Cyclones 5-0 in the first semifinal. Ward had won 19 straight tournament games.
WSU signee TJ McGreevy struck out 12 in seven innings of shut out ball. He allowed three hits.

Cujo – I tried to post updates on games that were relevant to the area, or that we had any concrete info on. The scores alone were on this story: STATE CHAMPIONSHIP SCOREBOARD.
