Here’s the text from the first post and I’ve given you the answers at the bottom:
This is a little silly, but maybe you’ll play along. I mean, you played along with the spammer that one day, for goodness’ sakes!
I’ve been getting football surveys back from coaches for about the past week now. On those surveys I ask which teams will be powers in the various classes, ranging, of course, from 6A to 8-Man I and II.
So I want you to name the schools that are getting the most mention overall and in their classes. Can you do it?
Update: No surprise, Hutchinson is being mentioned the most right now by coaches across the state. There’s a huge drop-off after that.
Topeka Hayden is second, then it’s Andale, Junction City, Smith Center, Bishop Carroll, McPherson, Olathe North, Gardner-Edgerton, Holton.
Then it’s Aquinas, Andover, Silver Lake, Baileyville (8-Man 1), Ulysses and Garden Plain, Clifton-Clyde, Madison and Goessel.
I haven’t gotten as many surveys returned to me at this point as I would like, but I imagine that will pick up soon.
Any new thoughts here?

Lucy – That’s a pretty good list but has an error – Silver Lake is 3A (not 8-man). That said, they may win 3A this year.
5A – Watch out for Emporia – Won’t beat Hutch but will be a tough draw in the playoffs.
4A – Very competitive in our area – Andale, Mulvane, Rose Hill, Buhler, and a few more.
3A – Collegiate may very well break thru this year.

wow so this is really off subject but i just had to get it out….you guys all know about the fugative that escaped from the sumner county jail i think a week back…well they found his truck flipped over down in blackwell oklahoma about a block away from where my uncle lives..and then lastnight i noticed a bunch of police and camera crews over by my neighbrohood fire station as me and a friend were going to the warren…well i found out just a little while ago that in an abandoned house that the fireman use they found the fugative not 3 blocks from my house…idk i just thought it was kinda crazy how this dude was so close to me and innocent children and people and nobody knew it.

Lou – I was taking my son back to Tulsa Univ and got stopped on I-35 just north of Blackwell for 1.5 hrs. We thought it was an accident or something but never saw any damage after the traffic started moving – wonder what the guy was in for.

Well, interesting picks and I don’t have enough info on some of the teams , but yes Hutch does seem popular. But there is a beast from the east coming soon, underated, passed over, just another team lost in the radar. Don’t get me wrong, yes the Blazers of Gardner-Edgerton get some media, but for the most part no one can believe that Gardner could actually have some talent to be dealt with…
