I think Derby will win BIG over SE, and Hutch will be upset.
Cole Carpenter will have 10 sacks, Taylor Smith will have 2 interceptions, and “Sid” Tyler Harrison will have 6 passing TD’s

Andale 28
Buhler’s offense has rolled in every game so far. Their run defense has been good, but I’m not sure Andale can exploit Buhler’s pass defense enough (only 40+ passing yds/gm before last week’s blowout of Kingman). I think the Crusaders will be able to score just enough and stop Andale when necessary to win by a TD.
Hutch 45
Mac 27
Haven’t seen either team, but Hutch is Hutch. Mac will put up a good fight for most of the game. Hutch pulls away.

My only prediction is that both teams will show up and play hard and after the game both teams will join one another in the cafeteria at Andale and eat and talk about things high school kids talk most about. It’s always nice to have the players intermingle in a casual atmoshere after beating up on oneanother. Two good teams and a slight break will probaly win it for someone. Here’s hoping they both can come out injury free.

While no doubt coach Young has put Mac on the map for highschool football I dont think they are ready for the monster from Hutch! Young is no doubt one of the greatest to ever coach Ks high school & will game plan well. Hutch 42 Mac 14 BUT WOULD LOVE TO SEE DREILING GET BEAT!!

Rosehill 42 Trinity 20 If Shirley is healthy.
Southeast 10 Derby 35 Derby defense will keep game in check & score a touchdown. Long night for Plowden. Hedgepeth will come up big on offense for the Panthers. Secondary will pick @ least 2 tonight. Plan on being present tonight if I can. Really want to see the Randal kid play. KSFOOTBALL mightkeep me posted in case I dont get down to Derby tonight. The local sports are awful @ coverage in this state. We dedicated an entire hour to highshool in Texas every Friday night. BY the way having been @ BC KMC game last week neither team can compete with the big schools in Texas,Oklahoma,Florida etc.. Great game but you must see these teams to know how good they are!

Hutch over Mac closer than some people think
Conway over GP maybe over time in this one.
Buhler over Andale. Playing on Andales home field gives Andale a huge edge, but Buhler is really the better team this year.

Is that kid from Hutch who has the charges filed against him for Battery the same kid who played for Hutch and Hutch Juco, Romero Cotton. Is this the same kid who went to Nebraska on a Wrestling scholarship?

Having seen Buhler play, I think they will easily beat Andale. They remind me of Andale’s state teams from a few years back.

The likely reason you think Buhler is a one-man (Oden) team is due to how awesome their O-line is. Hence, they are not a one-man team. Not only can QB Jake Reffner run and throw well, Roman Davidson is bruiser at FB and LB. Buhler can pass just fine when they need to. Quite a few of their TDs this year have been through the air.

YES2U come on man the city league is very weak @ best! Derby is not Hutch but not sure the city league teams can compete with lower class divisions even & be consistent?

i agree mcferson keeps it close because if hutch has one weakness its there secondary but D is just too good watch out Mac here comes Geno. Southeast is a good team with a lot of athletes but derbys D is too strong. low scoreing but i have to go with derby. On the other hand the 2 other big games i think are too close to call should be 2 great games to watch.

My prediction was slightly wrong. I predicted that after the game both teams would join one another in the cafeteria and eat and intermingle and talk about things kids talk about. I’m sorry to say but Buhler loaded up the buses and left. I think both teams benefit by casually eating and conversing with one another after a tough game no matter who wins. Thanks to the players of both teams for putting on a good game and glad to hear, everyone come out healthy.

I was impressed with the physicality of Conway given their small size. Props to brill…… what an athlete…Ad were the heck did that JV quaterback ome from. I was thououghly impressed with his pocket presense and his arm strength. He is going to be a star if GP leaves him in. Great game, less the refs…..

He will have his chance next year. I do t think he is ready to start the whole thing. In there for less than a half and threw 2 clutch pics. He is good buy he needs to a big crowd and pulling ” clutch” . He will be great next year .
