If you’re looking for state football championship coverage, you’ve got to check out varsitykansas.com and The Eagle. We’ll have football stories, previews and a column from yours truly starting on Friday and into Saturday.

So why is it that the 5a championship is televised here in Wichita, with no Wichita teams playing, but the 6a championship game (with Wichita Heights playing) isn’t?
