  1. Tom says:

    I’ll take a wild guess here….

    Blake Bell will be QB
Demarcus Robinson will be one of the RB

    That’s all I know. :)

  4. shocker528 says:

unsung hero: PK Matt Straka of BC. They never attempt field goals but he converts every PAT and does what is asked of him on kickoffs.

  5. DrJay says:

Some of the Rose Hill players need consideration.

  7. 515 says:

    they both have D1 offers.

  8. yougo says:

If lemaster doesn’t make is he going to punch somebody at the Eagle?

  9. wise old owl says:

Devon hedgepeth,Blake bell,Robinson, joseph randle, john mclure, trey page, travis Anderson, bj finley

  12. 515 says:

no a D1 offer means that someone who has more experience with football then you (wise owl) has recognized their skill and believes they can play at the next level.

and i think you’re still a little mad about the butt whooping collegiate handed your precious little owls this season

  13. MIRULZ says:

LeMaster got an offer from Eastern Michigan and the best player in Wichita, Tre Bailey, got one from Air Force. Both of these schools have excellent football programs, so take that wise owl!

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  14. Real Deal says:

MIRULZ its outstanding when any kid gets a full ride offer but “excellent” programs ? Easy on that best player talk as well. lol

  15. yougo says:

Blake Bell is not only better than Bailey in football he is also a better basketball player than him. It is comical for collegiate athletes to think they can compare to 6A athletes. They are at a smaller school so their is less competition to make the team.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  16. my op says:

It’s also comical for someone to think that just because there is a 6 before the ‘A’, that somehow automatically makes that school’s player better. Reference: Tyrell Reed 3A Burlington, currently playing many minutes at KU.

i believe mirulz was bieng sarcastic yougo and real deal….

    MIRULZ,
I am going to ask nicely, use your own name. I do not care what you say but do not pose as me. Happy Thanksgiving.

Here we go again. sorry but it does matter what kind of competition you play against. When people even argue that it makes them sound like they have never even watched a basketball game before. Perfect example is the collegiate basketball team. Terrible.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  20. yougo says:

Tyrel reed is one example. How many 3A or 4A D1 basketball players has there been compared to 5A and 6A? There is a big difference between 3/4A and 5/6A.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  21. yougo says:

No way in the world Colligiate could win state in Football or basketball or even volleyball in 5A or 6A. They would have a hard time getting out of substate.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  22. my op says:

St Johns and Collegiate have both beaten 5A competition in recent years. I can’t remember the teams, but they weren’t patsies.

  23. Real Deal says:

Lets get back to All Metro Football . I didnt get to see all the aera teams but i will get it started. QB Bell BC,RB Dmac NW, RB Mayes RH, WR Hedgepeth Derby,WR Lemaster Coll,K Young Derby, S Wessel Heights, S Randle SE,LB Call Derby.Feel free to add as we need some corners(maybe Hedgepeth as well),LBs,and DL,OL or correct what you think i have missed but attempt to name players that deserve it not just from your home team.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  24. Real Deal says:

possibly LB Haynes Heights as well

Go Wichita Heights Beat Olathe North your time has come win 6-A! Us being from Hutch would love to see you win! GO FALCONS!

  26. kevin c says:

everyone from collegiate thinks they are so good, it drives me crazy, i wish they would compete with city league teams and show them how tough it is

  27. Lushous Lou says:

reed is okay i guess. not really a true D1 player but i guess they take what they can get at ku lol ;). but thats coming from somebody who can’t stand anything or anybody ku related :)

  28. Kung Fu Grip says:

i’m glad that lemaster is going to a low rent michigan school otherwise he might sway the balance of power in the big 10 conference just by wearing his liberace style half sleeves.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  29. Fan says:

LeMaster has not commited to anywhere, and he is getting many other looks from other D1 schools. It is not his fault that he does not play for a large school, but obviously college scouts can see past that

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  30. kansas-sports says:

Blake bell, Laquae Mayes, Morgan Burns, Brett Lemaster,Hedgepeth, Randle are some picks I would pick! Running Backs are tough, Laque Mayes went deep into the playoffs, but I think if Morgan Burns would kept on going he would have broke 2,000.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  31. kansas-sports says:

and Burns is getting looked at by some D1 schools

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  32. mirulz says:

Lemaster and Bailey can both play period. 6A, 5A, 4A who cares . . . if you have talent . . . you have talent. All Metro, because of the restriction of trying to fill a roster on each side of the ball is difficult thing to do, rather than just listing the best 11 players on each side of the ball (without trying to fill quotas by position e.g. 5 lineman, 2 WR . . . ). Regardless, great football season, looking forward to basketball.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  33. yougo says:

Lemaster and Bailey might be decent football players but would not sniff the basketball court at heights, SE or East. Collegiate would not win state in football or basketball in any other class than the one they are in.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  34. mirulz says:

That is a pretty strong statement. I have seen all these kids play ball since they were in 6th grade and any player on Collegiate’s starting five would see minutes on any team mentioned in your last post. Decent . . . Hmmm, they are better than decent.

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  35. mirulz says:

And thank God we play against small schools that can’t recruit and hand out scholarships!
