So yesterday I offered up a topic about favorite high school sports memories from 2009. How about we take this one step farther — What are your favorite sports memories from 2009 (pro, college, etc.)?
Is it the craziness of the year with A-Rod and Tiger? Or is it your team winning a big game? My favorite part of 2009 was watching the Twins beat the Tigers in that epic extra game to determine who would go to the A.L. playoffs.

What are your thoughts on holiday tournaments for high school sports?
I personally appreciate the break from sports — for myself, the coaches and the players. But I also understand that we could have some good tournaments in the area that could really draw some fans.
