Whew. Another big night. Southeast girls nearly win at Heights. West boys overcome multiple deficits to beat North by 15.
Heights boys beat Southeast, East beats Carroll and Northwest beats South.
How about this? Mulvane wins over Circle by three. And Derby only beats Goddard by four.

Right now Jamez is putting up good numbers and is playing well while West is on a tremendous winning streak, however, don’t get your hopes up. Understand that even if he is not selected sometimes other factors play a large role in who gets selected. If Jamez makes 2nd team all city that would be nice. The coaches and I believe the sports writers for the wichita eagle select the teams. Sometimes people deserve to be on the team, but sometimes politics play a large role in selection of the teams(to be honest). Jamez must continue to work and improve. Those awards diminish anyway. Getting to college a getting a scholarship is the biggest reward anyway. Go Pioneers!!!

smd — The coaches of each league pick their own all-league players. The Eagle does name the All-Metro teams, after taking nominations from coaches.
