The Class 4A state tournament is all but over.

Clay Center leads with 125. Valley Center is in second with 106.5, while Andale is third with 99.

Before the consolation finals, VC led by seven points, but didn’t have anybody wrestling for third place. On the flipside, Clay Center had four wrestlers in the con. finals and two came away with third place medals.

Here are the local wrestlers in the finals:

Valley Center has Chase Nitcher (135), Cade Blair (152) and Titus Hopper (215). (Nitcher is going for his second consecutive title, while Blair is going for his third.)

El Dorado has Lucas Cortez (160) and Dylon Walker (189)
