I’d like to see that Frankamp kid play. I’ve heard great things but never gotten a chance to see him live.

Really suprised that Frankamp mad HM instead of 1st or second team. Coaches must have alot respect for some of those other kids who have played in the league for several years.

I thought Coach Squires did a great job working Frankamp into a system that consisted of mostly seniors. I agree with depp that Frankamp could have been 2nd team, but a lot of tough experienced guards ahead of him. He could be a three time 1st teamer. Jalen Love is another HM that could’ve been 2nd team. His upside is big time.

Duling from BC is a suprise. I would have thought Pope from Heights a better choice. However I guess you can’t have three Falcons on the first team.

as advertised the 2012 class was and is loaded in the City league. Perry Ellis, Gavin Thurman, Craig Nicholson, Terrance Moore, Jalen Love,June Johnson, Nathan Jackson and Spenser Gales with all of these kids getting attention from colleges. Now I look forward to watching them play all spring and summer with their respective AAU squads. Congratulations to all of these young men.
And Congratulations to the Heights Falcons!!!

No doubt 2012 is loaded, but the 2011’s are as well. Evan Wessel, Ja’ln Williams are 1st teamers. Dreamius Smith, 2nd team. Dobbins, Rohleder, R. Williams, and Lewis are Hm. Not to mention Cornelius and Ulsaker(I know they are not city leaguers) were MVP’s of their leagues as 2011’s.

I agree didnt mean to exclude the 2011 kids, and it will make for some really good basketball as these kids continue to develop.

Who all plays on the same summer team with Cornelius? If he works on his perimeter game he will be all-state next year.

I think Cornelius is already an all-stater. People still don’t give him credit for the athlete that he is. Don’t think it’s his fault that coach chooses to use him out of his position. Nevertheless it’s impressive what he can do at the size that he is.

Believe me I think he is one of the best in the state athletically and very few play as hard as he does. What I mean is in order to get to that next level of top 5 state player, which he is real close to right now, he needs more work on his perimeter skills. I think he is a heck of player but shooting better from the 3 point line and better handles will put him over the top. Hey, who can’t work on their game and get better. MVP of his league is a pretty good year but I am sure he wants more. Pretty darn good summer team with two league mvp’s.
