Kansas.com KSN

If you checked out the paper — and got past the fact that K-State is in the Sweet Sixteen, that Kansas is out, that the All-State boys and girls basketball teams have been picked — you would have also seen the previews on softball, track and tennis.

This is just the start to what I know will be an exciting time.

If you have story ideas for any sports or specific teams and athletes, feel free to e-mail me at jchadwick@wichitaeagle.com.

Yesterday was the first day in a very long time that I did not read the Sports section first… decided to start out with the Arts.

When I did finally pick up the Sports section, it was to enjoy the spring previews. When will you have swimming previews? I think North is the team to beat again in CL swimming.

Congrats to my niece, first team CPL and honorable mention 3A all state!

I hope the weather starts behaving! Good luck to all the spring athletes.

I’ve seen all the previews so far but none of them included Valley Center. Do they not participate in preseason articles? I also noticed they weren’t very good about turning in game information for basketball this past season.

Jo, tell Brooks Seeley(sp) if he’s the one covering girls soccer to go over to the discussion boards. He can find about all the info. he needs over there.

Swim Mom, thank you. That didn’t even occur to me until I went back to look at the finals and then it hit me. Sometimes the obvious just gets missed. LOL

Oliver Bradwell transfered to SE?? WHY??

    [REPORT A VIOLATION]

  16. JJFlash2b says:

Thats my question…why would Oliver transfer his Sr. year from East to SE with only the Spring semester to go? I wouldn’t think he could run track, unless there is some special circumstance allowing this.

  17. j. sand says:

No idea why he would transfer, I got that information from dyestat.

JJ — thanks for the news on soccer. I always like to stay informed.
Lisa, the information that is used in the previews should come from the information that the coach sends in or tells the reporter.
Chef — Unfortunately, not every coach sends back information. We try to get as much info as possible by sending surveys to every coach in every sport at each of our area schools.

I just think that Oliver was doing great at East. It could be a change because he will probably have to adjust to new coaching techniques??
