It’s the Fourth of July weekend, so what are your plans? Is there a big tournament you’ll be heading to? Maybe you go camping? Or just stay home and grill and shoot fireworks.

Whatever it is, enjoy your time and be safe!

    City League players & their summer teams are now gearing up for the best part of the year. They all are about to display & showcase their talents at many various tournaments. For instance, Mullens High Profile Tournament in Oklahoma a lot of city league players are attending. Such as : Pump N’ Run’s Organization including (Spencer Gales, Gavin Thurman, Jaln Williams, Evan Wessel, Kevin Gunter, Conner Frankamp, Craig Nicholson, & Jalen Love) as well as Mo-Kan Spiece Elite (Nathan Jackson, & Terrence Moore) also the Kansas Mustangs (Jay Bradley, Ej Dobbins, D Garland, Keenan Tisdale, Trace Clark, Jade Cathey, & Dario Duque) plus the Kansas Players (Perry Ellis, Jordan Phillips, Brison White, Briston White, & Dreamius Smith) in addition Team Kansas (Leon Cooper, Troy Brooks, & Kaheem Ransom) last but not least the Kansas Select (June Johnson , Cameron Cornelius, Michael Martin, & Micah/Matt Swanks).

    Majority of these teams are preparing for these NCAA Certified tournaments ending the summer including:

    -Mullen’s High Profile (Tulsa,OK)
    -Metro Sports Classic (Lansing,Michigan)
    -Center Stage (Las Vegas,NV)
    -Adidas Super 64 (Las Vegas,NV)
    -Denton Hardwood Classic (Denton,TX)
    -Water Fall Jam (Salt Lake City,UT)
    -AAU Nationals (Orlando,FL)
    -AAU Disney Classic (Lake Buena Vista,FL)
    So try to atleast find some info about these tournaments & how these 6 organizations and players are doing at these tournaments. Due to many basketball fans don’t have the funds & time to travel & go watch. Goodluck Wichita City League & Surrounding Area Players!

    As we speak, KC Pump N Run is at the highly competitive Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana. They are in the super pool and will play a very good Nashville Celtics team at 11:30 this morning and a very good team from Minnesota (43 Hoops) around 3pm this afternoon. In addition to Ja’ln Williams and Evan Wessel, Christian Ulsaker from Mcpherson is also a team member. Also, Tahlia Pope (Heights) and Joyea Marshall (Independent) are playing in Kentucky this week with their respective teams. Good luck to all the Wichita Kids. The D-1 coaches will be out in full force this month.
