Now this is fascinating.
Candace Buckner has a story in the Kansas City Star about how the KC school district started an offseason training program.
That’s pretty cool. Would that work in Wichita?

Aren’t most districts already doing this?
A districtwide offseason training program? This is the first one I have heard of that. Who else does it that you know of?
I think most of your suburban districts are already doing something simular. I know I’ve been hauling my middle schooler to training twice a week at which time there are perhaps a hundred other kids of various ages and grades doing the same. My grade schooler goes once a week to volleyball and basketball training as well. The gyms, fields and weight rooms are full daily.
