Kapaun Mount Carmel to add artificial turf
July 8, 2010 @ 1:58 p.m. by Joannaby joanna
While Kapaun Mount Carmel will continue to play its football games at Cessna Stadium, it will be getting an artificial turf practice football field that is hoped to be in place by the this season’s first practice.
Kapaun will use ATG Sports, which is based out of Andover. Bishop Carroll, which had artificial turf installed last summer, also used ATG.
Kapaun’s artificial turf field means that all nine City League schools will have artificial turf practice/game fields.
Kapaun also will have a new gym and is re-sodding the soccer field and re-surfacing the tennis courts.
