		<description>Wave and Blue Ice are playing in Plano and both made the final cut for the single elimination tournament.   Wave lost Sunday morning in their first game 4-0 while the Blue Ice is playing starting at around 1 in their first game after getting a bye to the final four.</description>

		<description>If a pitcher throws down the middle of the plate she stands a very good chance of getting the ball hit back to her. Very few pitchers can make each ball be a perfect pitch on the corner, that is where the accidents happens. The 43-feet pitching distance rule will help some of that, but when she makes a mistake and the ball is right down the gut, accidents can happen like this. My daughter pitched for ten years and was hit in her legs, but never her face, close a few times though. Very scary. I tried to get her to wear a mask, but she would not do it. I feel very lucky she did not get hit, very lucky. The masks work, but getting a kid to wear it is hard. If the college players would wear them, the younger kids would also. Third baseman could benefit from a mask too, they get some balls hit very hard at them and they play very close to the batter in fastpitch.</description>
