    Waco, Tex. – The 2010 AFCA?NAIA?Coaches’ All-America Team was announced today by the American Football Coaches Association. Ottawa University’s Clarence Anderson was named to the team as the All-Purpose player for his contributions on offense as wide receiver and as a kick returner.

    Anderson finished the season with 94 receptions, 1,477 receiving yards, 20 touchdowns (15 receiving, 2 rushing, 3 kickoff returns), and led in the team, the KCAC, and the NAIA in receptions per game (8.5).

    He was ranked first in the NAIA in receiving yards per game (134.3), first in total receiving yards (1,477), second in total receptions (94), second in scoring per game (10.9), second in all-purpose yards (2,072), second in all-purpose yards per game (188.4), third in kickoff return yards per attempt (30.3), third in total scoring (120), and 18th in total kickoff return yards (546).

    Anderson holds nine school records on the football field and three on the track. Last spring he was named KCAC Male Track Athlete of the Meet at the 2010 KCAC Track and Field Championships.
