I’m immersed in planning for our high school football preview section — due out in mid-August! I’m planning for our fall sports coverage for volleyball, boys soccer, girls golf, girls tennis and cross country.

But what I want to know is, which players, which coaches, which teams will be the stories we’ll all want to know about?

One clear story will be the oral commitment of Heights senior Perry Ellis. North junior Conner Frankamp made his commitment to Kansas public on Sunday, so when will Ellis’ come?

But what else is out there that will catch our interest?
