Today is the first day that fall sports can practice across the state of Kansas. If you’re thrilled about it, let me get an Amen from you!

I was out at Kapaun and Derby today, so I’ll have a story up a bit later. It was a wonderful morning for practice.

So tell me what’s your favorite fall sport? And how excited are you for your team to start practicing seriously for the season?

Yep…gotta love the oblong ball, but at the same time the round one too! So Jo, is it a felony to steal newspapers, even if they’re sitting outside the store for the taking? People are doing the big couponing thing it seems nowdays and love getting the inserts out of the paper. Oh…by the way…Northwest will win the CL in the octagon round ball and Maize the AV-CTL. As far as the oblong brown-ball goes…probably BC in the CL and Hutch or Mac in the AV-CTL.
