Yet another reason to love high school sports

This story gave me goosebumps. Now, I admit to being a total wuss about such things, but I love what amazing things can happen in connection to sports.

    I think the fact they were 14th and 15th place is why meet officials took no action in response to this noble (but illegal) gesture. It really is not permitted to aid a fellow competitor during an event because of the rest of the field.  Congratulations to all concerned on how they handled it.
