Kansas State has been watching Maize sophomores Keiryn Swenson and Daley Handy all summer, and today the Wildcats offered them scholarships.

Swenson and Handy both played varsity volleyball and helped the girls basketball team finish third in Class 6A. Both are also outstanding track athletes.

Creighton and Missouri State have offered Swenson, along with Wichita State volleyball.

Handy’s dad, Jerrod, who is the Maize girls coach, said Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Creighton and Wichita State are also looking at her.
