Newton’s Abbie Lehman commits to Wichita State volleyball

Newton senior Abbie Lehman, a 6-foot-2 middle hitter, made an oral commitment to Wichita State after taking an official visit last weekend. Lehman joins teammate Emily Hiebert, an All-Metro selection in 2011, as Wichita State commits.
Lehman is one of those players who just has a knack for getting the ball down and for blocking. Lehman and Hiebert both have power, while Hiebert also sets.
