Derby is now 7th overall in the soccer rankings, the only Wichita-area team to be ranked in the top 10 or in Class 6A overall. Kapaun and Carroll are ranked in 5A, while McPherson and Rose Hill are in 4-1A.

Which area teams have the best shot at winning a state title?

Whelp…it’s Derby’s turn to drop out of the Overall Rankings…hello Northwest!
Yep Jo…lots of pariety. Has anyone seen North lately or TODDMAN for that matter?

JJ, Probly won’t be much parity come March, couple of schools reloading according to players. As for this season NW playing well, they have a few minor aches & pains but should be full strength shortly. They should continue their drive to finish season on a good note under big B.

Pretty crazy with the boy’s season this year. I thought KMC and NW had pulled to the forefront, but evidently not after last nights results. Might be in this part of the State, it’s pretty watered down when it comes to overall teams with talent up and down their roster’s.
Won’t be the case come March for the girls HS season and it won’t be any secret that Maize Girls will be loaded to the hilt! Jay Holmes has so much talent returning up and down his roster and with a strong Freshman class coming in, it’s gonna hard for him to manage. The question is, when the Eagles return to 6A State in 2013, can they complete the task of bringing home a State Championship? We’ll see…stay tuned.

I’m still here, where you been? After we won last night I can see you pumping up the girls lol. Just wait a few more months.
