Crack: Yes, it's fair if he earns it. Obviously Marshall thinks he could potentially be a D1 player to allow him to walk on. He's a very bright kid with tremendous court sense....why wouldn't WSU take a chance on that? Or should they check with you on that first to make sure it's fair?

How big-time of it that he gives the new QB a shout? I think that says a lot about Gould.

I said he was a good player, but not a D1 talent even if he is just a walk on which a coach has to ok not everyone gets to try to walk on with that being said mark my words after one year he will have a scholarship, now if that happens will that be fair?

The question was who needs more hype. I know this will not be a popular opinion, but I think the kids who have outstanding grades and play multiple sports. The ones that will go to college, regardless if a sports scholarship pays their way or not. Those that go to every practice, every game, and complete the team, so that "star" gets to play and gets the recognition. They often play 3 different sports, keep honor roll grades, but are never seen. I also agree with more on the minor sports, these kids work just as hard as the kids in the major sport, but with very little recognition.

Speaking of top football games, the last two JUCO champions will get it on in Wichita on Aug. 28 at 7p.m. Blinn Junior College and Butler in what could very well decide this season's national championship game will be played in August.

Wichita Bulls just won they're first game here in Las Vegas 53-32 against the California RC Rebels. Conner Frankamp had around 25. They are playing again in 30 minutes against the Northern Utah Shooters. Chris Reed who will be an 8th grader this year at Mayberry also played well for the Bulls in first game. The Kansas Hoyas 14U Play at 9:00 tonight. Team members here for them are:
Jalen Love (Heights), Spenser Gales (Northwest), Craig Nicholson (Northwest), Nathan Jackson (East) who had a great game in the first game!, Jimmy Washington (Heights), Gabe Lynch (Heights), Brock Cramer (Northwest), Daunte Carter (Northwest). Another key member Kevin Gunter (Northwest) did not make the trip and that could hurt them against a team with lots of size. Lots of college coaches all over (mostly at the 17U games) couple of city league coaches did show up to see some of they're soon to be players play.
